Jessica is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse with over 12 years of experience in both the Acute and Community Public Mental Health sector.

Jess has a broad range of clinical experience ranging from child and adolescent inpatient, mother and baby inpatient, adult inpatient, community crisis and assessment, hospital in the home, dual diagnosis, community case management and youth psychosis.

Her special interest is complex mental health disorders and physical health promotion. Jess currently works part-time as a senior nurse/clinician in Youth Mental Health Services, specialising in psychosis.  

Focussing on a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to guide her therapy, Jess’s approach is holistic. Working with individuals, their families and health care providers to promote optimal mental and physical health. Formulating relapse prevention and safety planning, physical health assessments and promotion, psychoeducation and psychotherapy that is person centred, recovery focussed and trauma informed.

At All Psychiatry Jess offers face to face, telehealth and outreach/home visits.

Jessica is Accepting referrals for clients seeking support with the following needs:

Psychotherapy and counselling

  • Outreach or online available
  • Psychotherapy sessions with an emphasis in building functional capacity and psychosocial recovery

 

Family Work

  • Psychoeducation for families – specialist interest in psychosis

 

Mental Health care plans and crisis planning.

For clients who have had recent or multiple hospital admissions

  • Clients who would benefit from having crisis/EWS plans
  • Clients who would benefit from Comprehensive mental health care plans to help guide NDIS supports and coordination
  • Secondary consultation and education for Support coordinators and support workers
  • Liaising with health care providers – G.P’s, Psychiatrists, Acute mental health teams, to strengthen the coordination of access to care.

  • NDIS applications.
  • Help completing NDIA access form, gathering supporting documentation and support letter.

 

(Fee on application, no Medicare rebates available. Able to provide under NDIS – Therapeutic supports for participants who are plan or self managed)
