Dr. Manoj George is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychogeriatrician with extensive experience in the UK and Australia. A Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), he is accredited in Adult and Old Age Psychiatry. Dr. George currently leads Older People’s Mental Health at West Moreton Health, Ipswich, and previously served as Director of ECT and Neurostimulation.

He trained in psychiatry in the UK and completed advanced training in Old Age Psychiatry. He also holds a Master’s in Neuroscience & Neurodegeneration from King’s College London. Dr. George was instrumental in establishing a Memory Clinic in Northamptonshire, UK, recognised during the 2015 Prime Minister’s Challenge on Dementia. He is actively involved with the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS).

Dr. George is the Chief Training Supervisor at West Moreton and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. His research, particularly in telepsychiatry, has enhanced access to mental health care for older adults in remote areas, and he has published on neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
